Riding Along

After spending half an hour taming the creatures, the party was once again on their way. <i>Maman, what kind of path have you set me on,</i> Bast thinks to herself as she guides the strange mount down their path. Eartha, Tomas, and Orzad are all riding together nearby. Though it feels nice to be beneath the open sky, she misses Beta and the security of her wagon.

"Goddard, how did you come to be in this world?" she asks.

By the Water

"You aren't going to even describe what we're looking for? Not even a little?" he asks as he undoes the top of his pants. He looks over at Bast, his face silently asking her to help him.

Goddard instantly stops moping about his newly discovered "condition" when Bast sits next to him. "I think I can hear you in my head," he says a bit confused. "I think this place has done something to me."

VOX buzzes.

"Could you go away? I am not crazy!"

Fallowshire

The group leaves the tower after their meeting with the prince to compile a list of necessary supplies and spend time preparing for their "mission".

"Food," Goddard mumbles to himself. "We definitely need food...at least one watermelon. And actual water and something soft to sleep on."
